Role Overview

HCLTech is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Pune location. The role involves working as a CAD Developer with a strong focus on C++ development. The selected candidate will contribute to long-term engineering projects related to GTS products.

Candidates with a mechanical engineering background and experience with CAD technologies may be preferred for this position.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD-related software using C++.
• Work on engineering applications and CAD customization.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of GTS products.
• Apply knowledge of geometry and CAD fundamentals while developing solutions.
• Work with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and implement solutions.
• Support integration and customization of CAD systems.
• Troubleshoot and improve software functionality as required.

Skills Required

• Strong programming knowledge in C++.
• Understanding of CAD customization and integration.
• Knowledge of Knowledge-Based Engineering (KBE).
• Understanding of CAD fundamentals and geometry concepts.
• Ability to work on engineering and software development projects.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering.
• 0–2.5 years of experience.
• Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background may be preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of C++ and CAD technologies is required.
