Roles & Responsibities
- Take part in creating, reviewing, and assessing the specifications and needs for software and storage.
- Create written specs based on verbal needs for projects with varying levels of complexity.
- Make use of established software lifecycle techniques.
- Examine and put into practice software product testing techniques.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, databases, embedded software/firmware, system, network, operating system, and application administration, and programming languages (C, C++)
- familiarity with networking, storage, server, and client technologies
- Capacity to use design specifications to build and debug moderately complex programs
- familiarity with software applications and architectures
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
Desirable Requirements
- Python or Bash scripting experience would be a plus.
- Familiar with algorithmic concepts that can scale with constant performance; Hardware knowledge.
