Job Description

According to the Software Development Life Cycle, Danfoss is seeking a new hire or an experienced individual with experience in embedded systems software development. This individual will be in charge of creating embedded software in accordance with predetermined software specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• The following are only a few of the duties associated with this role.
• Recognize needs and use UML to generate low-level designs.
• Create embedded software in accordance with the specified software specifications.
• Testing and software integration

Qualification & Skills

• Experience and Proficiency
  Education: Master of Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent

Experience & Qualities:

• 0–4 years of design, development, and testing experience with embedded system software.
  Outstanding ability to communicate in both written and spoken English
• Requires specific knowledge:
  Knowledge of microcontrollers (RISC, CISC); RTOS; embedded C; electronics; CAN communication and protocols such as UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, and J1939
  Static analysis and tools like LDRA, QAC, or Vector Cast; Change Management and tools like JIRA/VSTS; Version control and tools like SVN/GIT/Clearcase; MISRA standard-2000/MISRA 2012; SDLC, Agile Scrum
  Tools such as Reqtify or similar ones for traceability management; design approaches like UML; and the software test life cycle
  Preferred will be specialized knowledge. Software design and development are affected by the functional safety life-cycle and management.
