Amazon freshers hiring for Quality Assurance Technician . we are looking for a high-energy, talented quality assurance technician. You will work with multiple development teams and stakeholders in India to execute and plan test strategy and implementation. A successful candidate will have a strong technical ability and outstanding knowledge around testing and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with testing on device is a strong plus.
Technicians in quality assurance (QA) make ensuring that client and business quality requirements are being fulfilled. the work that is done under the management of the quality assurance manager, including quality testing, inspections, equipment calibration, and test result communication.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- A graduate in Quantitative fields such as science and engineering. (0-2 experience).
- Good understanding of formal test case design techniques.
- Ability to write, execute and maintain test cases for the feature.
- Ability to clearly report defects and communicate to stakeholders in defect triage/test summary report.
- Good understanding of one scripting language
- High level of energy and proactive nature. A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines is essential.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Should have exposure to API testing using tools such as POSTMAN
- Experience in automating the RESTful API using frameworks such REST Assured.
- Excellent QA aptitude and ability to drive process improvements
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Ability to write test cases for straight forward changes
Job Responsibilities
- Black Box testing
- validate product behavior using team-provided SOPs, test tools, and automation
- Write test cases for the new feature, modifying and maintaining the existing test cases.
- Understand and ramp up on QA procedures, guidelines and policies for newly launched feature and apply them
- Be proactive in identify issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate to stake holders and escalation of issue and providing status reports
- Contribute toward continuous team process improvement
- Ability to debug and fix automated tests as needed and contribute towards adding new tests to the existing automated test suites.
- Apply prior knowledge of the various forms of testing methodologies (e.g., functional, unit, integration, system, performance, etc.) and can
- discern which SOP or tool is the right one to utilize for the assignment
- Be part of a highly charged work environment
