Atlassian is looking for a passionate and talented Associate Software Engineer to join our growing Data Science and Analytics team within Customer Support Services. You’ll be responsible for writing code and building applications that enable our Support Engineers and related teams to be more effective and efficient at helping our customers.
We are seeking a qualified software engineer to work on projects that our company is currently developing, working in tandem with our outstanding software development team. Developing and overseeing software system validation and testing procedures as well as managing our software programming projects are just a few of the responsibilities. In order to provide project status updates and proposals, you will also collaborate closely with clients and departments that span functional boundaries.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- A computer science/engineering degree or equivalent demonstrable experience in writing software applications
- Knowledge of modern programming languages (Any of Python, Javascript, Java)
- Appetite to learn language frameworks to build large-scale applications
- An understanding of microservice architecture
- Understanding of databases and ability to read and write SQL
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Real passion for collaboration in remote worlds, strong interpersonal skills
- A willingness to accept failure, learn and try again
- Familiarity or practical experience with containers such as Docker and Docker-compose
- Completed projects and/or assignments in React, Typescript
- Familiarity and aptitude for working with machine learning UX approaches and applications to common business problems

- coming up with creative answers to the technical problems facing our business.
