Automation Engineer jobs in Qualcomm . QA automation engineers, also referred to as quality assurance automation engineers, create automated tests to verify the operation of web and mobile apps. They are responsible for designing the initial tests, writing the scripts, setting up the automation testing methods, and reporting the outcomes.
We are looking for a skilled QA automation engineer to help us create testing protocols for our software products. In this position, you will be in charge of evaluating an application’s functionality and creating automated tests to verify its operation. It will also be necessary for you to work with the software design team, setup databases, and find faults.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or a related language
- Linux OS fundamentals and understanding of Linux kernel, boot process, memory management, process management etc. and exposure to Linux CLI.
- Knowledge of automation technologies and testing on QCOM SOCs is a plus
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Job Responsibilities
- Exposure to Linux Android environment and involve in test automation using Python / Perl/ shell scriptingÂ
- Manual and automated testing on SoCsÂ
- Exposure to Performance, Sanity or Stability testing
- Create test automation frameworks in collaboration with team membersÂ
- AI /ML based Test methodologies
- Cross team collaboration with engineer across board and enhance the test plans
- Should be able to test & automate embedded devices ( preferably Mobile/IoT/Auto )
