Registration and Hiring Process

The 2025 hiring process includes a one-stop registration followed by several rounds of assessments:

  1. Round 1 (Online): Communication assessment.
  2. Round 2 (Online): Aptitude and Technical assessment.
  3. Round 3 (In-person): Technical interview for shortlisted candidates in GenC Next, GenC Pro, or GenC categories.

Cognizant Syllabus: 

The Cognizant hiring syllabus is divided into four critical sections: Screening Round, Communication Assessment, Technical Assessment, and Technical Interview. Each stage is an elimination round, meaning only the candidates who pass the previous stage can move on to the next.

1. Screening Round:

2. Communication Assessment (45 Minutes):

  • Candidates must choose any two preferred skill clusters for the technical assessment at the time of registration.
    • Cluster 1 Skills: Java, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% questions on Java and ANSI SQL).
    • Cluster 2 Skills: Python, ANSI SQL, Cloud fundamentals (85% questions on Python & ANSI SQL).
    • Cluster 3 Skills: C#, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% questions on C# and ANSI SQL).
  • The final decision of mapping skill clusters for technical assessment is at the sole discretion of Cognizant. If selected, candidates should be flexible to learn other skill areas during training based on business demand.
  • Ensure student registration is done accurately, as it will be considered final. Discrepancies in name, scores, or educational documents will result in disqualification.
  • All communications will be sent to the registered email ID in Superset, which must remain unchanged until Full-Time Employment (FTE) onboarding.

Eligibility Criteria for 2025 Batch

  • Applicable to the 2025 batch of specific B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. streams (excluding Leather Technology, Food Technology, Fashion Technology, etc.).
  • Consistent academic record with a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG is required.
  • Students with standing arrears are NOT eligible.
  • Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location and in a given shift timing and technology is mandatory.
  • Open to Indian nationals/OCIs/PIOs currently residing in India.

  • Resume attached with the latest passport-size photograph.
  • Industry accredited certificate, if available, must be uploaded mandatorily.

  • All academic documents, including the college ID card, X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG mark sheets.
  • PAN card is mandatory. If not available, please apply for it, ensuring accuracy in names and other details to avoid background verification failure.
