We are seeking a proactive and perceptive DevOps engineer to join our esteemed organization. The DevOps engineer will be involved at different phases of every product’s lifecycle, thus it’s important for them to stay current with technological developments in order to maximize productivity. Skills set Required for this Job :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science from a reputed institute (BE, BTech, MSC, MCA, BSc)Â
- 0 to 2 years’ experience in DevOps, Ops or Application Development; preferably with microservices.Â
- Curious and enjoys learning new things.Â
- Responsible and proactive in solving problemsÂ
- Team player with excellent communication skills.Â
- Able to see the big picture and how different parts of a system fit together.Â
- Exposure to some of the following preferred: application deployment pipelines, big picture view of large application systems, containers, Kubernetes, microservices, databases, caching tools, Linux, shell scripting, python, gitÂ
- Nice-to-have experience: New Relic, Jenkins, KibanaÂ
Job Responsibilities
- Work with the following technologies: containerization, Helm, Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, shell scripts, CI/CD, automated deployment pipelines, Jenkins Â
- Application tech stack: microservices, Java, .NET, Spring, Oracle, Mongo, RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, RedisÂ
- Develop cool new tools and processes to improve deployments, stability and monitoring.Â
- Ensure the stability of deployments and environments in non-production and production.Â
- Evaluate new tools and conduct POC’s for further improvement in deployment timelines and processes.Â
- Facilitate smooth deployment of releases to production environments for both patch and major releases.Â
