An associate engineer’s function is essential to any firm. They are in charge of providing assistance to the engineering team, resolving technical problems, and helping to design and carry out engineering projects. Skills set Required for this Job :
- Must have good understanding of SDLC, OOPs, Agile, DevOps processes
- Must have hands-on Application development/Integration/Test/Automation/Security
- Must have experience on creating, consuming & testing web services – REST and SOAP
- Must have experience in Software development/test management tools : JIRA/XRay, Confluence, Soap UI, RestClient, Cucumber, JMeter, Git,
- Maven/Gradle, Sonar/Checkmarx, Jenkins/Gitlab CI
- Good knowledge on SQL databases (MySQL/PostGreSQL/Oracle) or NOSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis/DGraph)
- Optional : Working experience on AI/NLP, Machin/Deep learning, Cloud and Containers
Job Responsibilities
- Help with the planning, creation, and execution of engineering projects, making sure they are finished on schedule and under budget.
- Work together with top engineers to evaluate technical specifications and suggest creative fixes.
- Examine possible engineering projects for efficacy and efficiency by conducting research and feasibility assessments.
- To guarantee smooth operations, troubleshoot technical difficulties and promptly give remedies.
- Engineering projects should be accurately documented and kept up to date, including design specifications, test plans, and project reports.
- Work together with cross-functional teams from operations, quality assurance, and product management to guarantee the smooth integration of engineering solutions.
- Keep abreast of emerging market trends and technological advancements, and suggest ways to optimize current engineering procedures.
- Take part in code reviews and offer helpful criticism to improve the general quality of the code.
