A software engineer applies software engineering techniques to examine the problem description and provide a scalable solution. They are also in charge of test case creation, documentation, data design, acquisition, maintenance, and security. Every phase of the software development process is communicated with by a software engineer, who can also, with the appropriate experience, function as a product manager.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Product development experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, Hibernate, Web Services – (SOAP / REST) and XML.
- Hands on Experience in Windows batch and UNIX shell scripting .
- Proficiency with Bitbucket, UNIX/Linux environments.
- Experience with Jenkins and Harness.
- Exposure to Angular JS.
Educational Qualification: :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent education/experience in a computer science field
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of banking or Financial services industry
Job Responsibilities
- Provide application software development services and technical support for a banking domain product.
- Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications.
- Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.
- Maintain, test and integrate application components with other related software applications.
