Job Description:

• Around 0-2 years of QA experience
• Authors and executes automation test cases for bigger computer systems as part of a broader testing strategy.
• Ensures that test data is generated to facilitate test case execution, as well as the construction and maintenance of reusable test data set libraries.
• Work as part of the sprint test team to gather input and implement necessary changes to ensure accurate and complete software testing activities.
• Utilizes quality engineering tools for test planning and management, test case authoring, test case execution, and issue/defect tracking.
• Performs a thorough assessment of deliverables provided by other IT department members throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle, ensuring that the specifications are of good quality and can be used to develop test scripts.
• May attend technical sessions with Business Analysts and Developers.
• Reviews requirements specifications for testability, verifying/ensuring traceability of testing to requirements, and vice versa.
• Have a thorough understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process, including user and functional specifications for larger, more complicated applications.
• Proactively, consistently, and accurately communicates status, progress, and concerns to the QA Lead.
• Perform several forms of testing, including unit, functional, non-functional, security, and data validation.

SKILLS

• Programming Languages: Java, SQL, and Scripting
• Automation testing technologies, such as Selenium
• Experience in product-based testing and various testing methodologies.
• Capability to break down problems/systems into smaller components and organize them as part of a broader system
• Demonstrate and express the application of logical and analytical thinking to a testing issue.
• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills; user-focused; collaborate well with team members.
• Very high knowledge/skills in test case generation and execution; ability to develop and execute test cases as part of a larger testing strategy. Test cases would be created and executed for discrete or numerous components of bigger, complicated systems that may communicate with other goods.
• Ability to write and execute test cases, as well as aid in the creation of test plans and strategies, and to coordinate testing and testing assignments. Requires minimum technical instructions and guidance for difficult jobs.
• A thorough understanding of relational database theory, multi-tiered application architecture, and cloud technologies
• Involved in the design, preparation, execution, and maintenance of test cases.
• Hands-on familiarity with SQL queries and back-end database validation
