Job Description:
As a Quality Engineer, you ensure high quality of software solutions in collaboration with the whole development team. Your focus lies on effective testing, quality in automation, programming and deploying software. Automation of test activities plays an important part in your role. You understand and use the required tooling to support this.

Key Responsibilities
- As a BI ETL Test Engineer, you take care of the testing of BI systems.
- This includes validation of the business data flow , ETL components, data lineage, ETL architecture and you are able to analyze defects during data validation.
- This includes setting up testing strategy, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility and risk assessments.
- As BI ETL Test Engineer, you are required to have sufficient knowledge to work in this area of specialised testing.
- This includes developing a basic knowledge of ETL DW, BI concepts, understanding SQL language and Unix.
- You are expected to have technical knowledge of relevant BI and ETL tools and use them to create and run tests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
- Previous work experience as a test engineer.
- Familiarity with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of diagramming software including Gliffy, Microsoft Viso, and AutoCAD.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to project manage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
- High-level technical writing skills.
