Role Overview

The Early Career Traineeship is designed for recent graduates, and Baker Hughes will teach new talent who meet the qualifications to conduct their traineeship in a specific company. The traineeship lasts 6 to 12 months and will help you enhance your technical knowledge and soft skills while also providing on-the-job training and exposure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working on the backend or frontend, and using whatever language, script, or technology as needed for the project.
• Working on a large-scale/complex project that requires you to link business demands and domain knowledge with technical expertise.
• Learning the technological framework and implementing best practices for scalable, maintainable programming.
• Breaking down challenges and estimating the time required for development work.
• Understanding the entire product, its modules, and the relationships between them in the given component.
• Designing interfaces and information transmission among modules

Qualification and Skills

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in STEM (computer science/engineering or electronics engineering).
• Demonstrate quick learning and comprehension of backend programming using Node.js, frontend development using Angular, React, and languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#.
• Be able to design and create RESTful services and APIs using REST, XML, JSON, and API gateway.
• Be able to implement microservices and docker/containerization.
• Be adept in developing backend services such as session management, caching, algorithms and data structures, secure coding, and so on.
• Good understanding of backend development for web/cloud applications, as well as recognized leadership credentials.
