TCS HackQuest Season 11 is a cybersecurity competition where students can demonstrate their ethical hacking and security skills.
Role: Cybersecurity / Ethical Hacking Contest Participant
Responsibilities:

Solve cybersecurity and Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges.

Identify vulnerabilities in applications and networks.

Perform security testing and analyze threats.

Document findings and explain problem-solving approaches.
Skills Required:

Cybersecurity and ethical hacking fundamentals.

Networking and web application security.

Programming knowledge (Python, Java, PHP, or Go).

Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Knowledge of cryptography and penetration testing.
Eligibility:

2027 graduating batch.

B.E., B.Tech., M.E., M.Tech., BCA, MCA, B.Sc., or M.Sc.

Students enrolled in recognized institutions in India.

Selection Process
01
Round 1 – Online Capture the Flag
5 December 2026 | 10 AM–4 PM IST
Participants solve cybersecurity challenges, capture flags, and submit the required technical report. Performance is evaluated using captured flags, solution quality, and the approach taken.
02
Round 2 – Advanced Security Assessment
Shortlisted participants undertake remotely proctored challenges involving areas such as penetration testing, digital forensics, AI/ML security, threat hunting, and incident response.
03
Round 3 – Final Evaluation
Selected participants attend an in-person round at a TCS campus, explain their solutions, and answer questions from the cybersecurity jury.
