Job Description

Your role as a consultant System Support Engineer will be essential for the daily functioning of application systems. The position entails contributing to incident management and gaining exposure to DevOps practices. Your efforts will contribute to the smooth functioning of systems and you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow while assisting in the delivery of solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• You will work with tools and the incident management process.
• You will utilize intricate application systems and navigate them to troubleshoot a problem that affects the organization.
• You will adhere to best practices and standards to improve system availability, stability, and operational efficiency.
• You will work in cooperative, value-driven teams to create creative customer experiences for our clients while utilizing continuous delivery processes to develop, support, and provide high-quality software and value to end users as soon as feasible.
• You will make use of your understanding of various logging techniques (at different levels) to monitor, alert, and determine the underlying cause of occurrences.
• In order to identify events and respond to them more quickly, you will create alerting and monitoring systems and extract insightful data and key performance indicators.
• You will use our Technology Radar’s most recent technological insights to address client issues.

Technical Skills

• You are familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, have worked with programming languages like Java and.Net, and know how to use scripting languages like Python and Powershell.
• You are proficient at using debugging tools and resolving code problems.
• You’ve worked with both relational and non-relational databases before.
• You’ve worked with CI/CD tools like Azure pipelines and Jenkins before.
• Application monitoring tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana are available to you.
• You are at ease using Agile techniques like Scrum and/or Kanban.
• You may make sure that the deliverables—bug fixes and improvements to the current codebase—are well-tested and of the highest caliber.
