Job Description :

Test engineers are in charge of creating and carrying out the tests that guarantee a product’s functionality and quality. From creating the test parameters to resolving issues and drafting the final test protocols, they participate in every stage of the testing program.

Associate Fresher in Capgemini

A qualified test engineer is needed to create and carry out quality-check processes for our goods. Writing up final test procedures for the quality technicians, designing test settings, analyzing product features, and developing specific quality checks are all part of the job description for a test engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
  • Ensure the test defects raised are as per the norm defined for project / program / account with clear description and replication patterns
  • Detect bug issues and prepare file defect reports and report test progress
  • No instances of rejection / slippage of delivered work items and they are within the Wipro / Customer SLA’s and norms
  • Design and timely release of test status dashboard at the end of every cycle test execution to the stake holders
  • Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned stakeholders

Skill Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
  • Previous work experience as a test engineer.
  • Familiarity with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW.
  • Knowledge of diagramming software including Gliffy, Microsoft Viso, and AutoCAD.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to project manage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
  • High-level technical writing skills.
