Latest job opening in Addepar for Cloud Systems Engineer. Our organization is expanding and we are seeking a proficient systems engineer to assist us in extending our computing infrastructure. A network of computers, comprising hardware, software, and system architecture, must be designed, assembled, and maintained by a team of IT specialists under the direction of the systems engineer.

We’re looking for a dynamic Engineer who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and cultivate an environment that crafts high quality engineering processes and product delivery. You love building reliable and resilient systems and can amplify your skills through your team. You’ll work closely with data systems, development and product to deliver a more modern and dependable infrastructure.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • Several years experience as a professional systems engineer
  • Experience with Linux Administration, Postgres and Cloud Infrastructure Systems (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Terraform, TeamCity and other modern infrastructure automation tooling
  • Experience with finance is a plus!
  • a bachelor’s degree (preferably a master’s) in computer science, information systems, or a similar discipline.
  • UNIX-based system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience that has been demonstrated.
  • expertise configuring software for automation and writing scripts (using Perl, Ruby, or Python, for example).
  • outstanding familiarity with TCP/IP and OSI network layers.
  • knowledge of system monitoring, performance adjustment, and management.
  • Proficient in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with developers and product owners to design and implement our cloud hosting strategy
  • Become an authority in Terraform, AWS and ArgoCD and enable our engineering teams to deliver resilient solutions quickly and efficiently
  • Help drive our inclusive and dynamic engineering culture.
  • Develop pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems and contribute to our organization’s knowledge of our hosted services
