Latest job opening in Amazon for Data Engineer.As a Data Engineer you will enable data-driven decision making within the Amazon Web Services Data Center Infrastructure Operations organization. The Infrastructure Operations Team is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving the global Amazon Data Center infrastructure. The team supports all aspects of the Data Center based organizations, including but not limited to

You will be developing, implementing and maintaining the information data lake and utilizing insight platforms to enable decision support systems for the overall organization. You should have excellent business and communication skills, and be able to work with business owners to understand their data and reporting requirements.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with one or more query language (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
  • Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell)
  • Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
  • Experience with any ETL tool like, Informatica, ODI, SSIS, BODI, Datastage, etc
Job Responsibilities
  • communicating with clients and coworkers to clarify the specifications for each task.
  • conceiving and building the infrastructure necessary to access and analyse massive data.
  • restructuring current frameworks to improve how well they work.
  • To make sure such structures are suitable for use, test them.
  • preparing unprocessed data so that data scientists may work with it.
  • identifying and fixing mistakes in your work.
  • ensuring that appropriate colleagues can easily access and maintain a backup of your work.
  • keeping abreast of technical developments and industry standards to enhance the calibre of your outputs.
