Latest job opening in Amazon for System Development Engineer. Systems Development Engineers are expected to develop best practices, refine operational procedures and constantly innovate proactively. You will continuously identify areas of growth within the existing frameworks, tools and processes to develop further technical mechanisms to reduce waste and continuously improve.

The Alexa Excellence team is looking for a System Development Engineers to help build /support tools for Amazon Alexa. The team operates programs to increase the availability, productivity and performance of all Alexa customer experiences. We serve as a center of excellence by providing leadership, best practices, tools, research, audit reports, support and education to all Alexa teams. You will be responsible for driving availability and optimizations across the teams in Alexa. You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • a computer science bachelor’s degree or a similar degree.
  • understanding of the lifecycle of software development.
  • the desire to work in a hectic setting.
  • the capacity to create unit tests for entire applications or code segments.
  • As always, creativity is a plus.
  • Must comprehend software engineering ideas and be a full-stack developer.
  • familiarity with a range of software development tasks.
  • extensive understanding of programming languages.
Job Responsibilities
