Systems engineers are in charge of creating and configuring the networked computing infrastructure of a company, making sure everything functions properly and efficiently, and troubleshooting any technological problems that may come up.The systems engineer must be a highly motivated, results-oriented person with the ability to design the ideal solution for our organization’s most pressing demands in order to succeed in this role.
Our organization is expanding and we are seeking a proficient systems engineer to assist us in extending our computing infrastructure. A network of computers, comprising hardware, software, and system architecture, must be designed, assembled, and maintained by a team of IT specialists under the direction of the systems engineer.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably a master’s) in computer science, information systems, or a similar discipline.
- UNIX-based system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience that has been demonstrated.
- expertise configuring software for automation and writing scripts (using Perl, Ruby, or Python, for example).
- outstanding familiarity with TCP/IP and OSI network layers.
- knowledge of system monitoring, performance adjustment, and management.
- Proficient in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Infrastructure support of incoming system tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services
- Work on maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Java and AWS technologies
- Software deployment support in staging and production environments
- Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
- System and Support status reporting
- Ownership of one or more Digital products or components
- Improve Retail Music infrastructure, operational performance, and stability.
- Participate in designs, code and procedures reviews.
- Identify opportunities arising from technical discussions and do the technical trade-offs.
- Troubleshoot, research root causes thoroughly resolve defects.
- Drive Company Wide Campaigns with Support and Engineering teams and drive it to closure.
- Keep the Compliance risks for Retail Music systems under control.
- Drive large scale projects such as migration to native , Pipeline Automation and drive it to closure
