Latest job opening in Amdocs for Technical Architect . We are searching for a seasoned technical architect to supervise the creation and setup of IT systems for our clients. As a technical architect, your duties will include coordinating meetings with the IT manager to go over business procedures, creating the framework for enterprise-level IT systems, managing project execution, and tracking the effectiveness of the new system.

As a technical architect, your duties will include coordinating meetings with the IT manager to go over business procedures, creating the framework for enterprise-level IT systems, managing project execution, and tracking the effectiveness of the new system.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  •  An AWS expert! Preferably an AWS certified architect with deep understanding on aws with ability to build and consult on aws infrastructure solutions. 
  • And up to date familiarity with AWS services and offering.
  • Ability to provide architectural cloud solutions 
  • A Python developer with experience in writing code that integrates with cloud services. 
  • Developing Lambda functions and Step Function flows. Advantage: CDK
  • Declarative Language. Must know CloudFormation and terraform. Advantage: ansible, crossplane
  • System admin. needs to have deep understanding in at least one OS, Linux or Windows.
  •  Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Working with repositories and artifacts. Advantage: Jenkins, GitHub actions, Git, Nexus.
  • Developing shell scripts with Bash or PowerShell
  •  Containers and Kubernetes. Be able to build containers, deploy and maintain K8s clusters.
  • Develop API services that can integrate with cloud services. Advantage: Flask, Nginx
  •  Understanding in network topologies, ip management, routing tables, firewall and DNS domains
  • Security orientation. Awareness to cloud security risks, potential vulnerabilities, mitigation tools and basic log analytics
Job Responsibilities
  • a meeting to ascertain the needs of the business, both present and future, with the IT manager.
  • figuring out whether a new system needs to be installed or if the existing one can be improved.
  • supplying schematics and design concepts to the business.
  • overseeing the system’s development and deployment as a project.
  • a meeting to talk about the requirements for system software with the software developers.
  • resolving system problems as they appear.
  • supervising every component involved in the system integration process.
  • evaluating the freshly installed or upgraded system’s performance.
  • educating employees about system processes.
  • delivering post-installation feedback to the business.
