Latest job opening in BCG for Junior Analyst. We are seeking exceptional candidates with experience and passion to fill a Junior Data Analyst position in the Survey Operations & Analytics (SOA) team at BCG. This team is part of the Knowledge Practice Area and is an integral part of BCG’s strategy to deliver superior value and sustained impact to clients.

We are searching for a perceptive, meticulous analyst to collaborate with our internal departments and management team in the gathering, analyzing, and application of data in order to streamline workflows and create more robust, successful business plans. In order to find data sources, mine, review, validate, protect, and store data, as well as to spot trends, patterns, and anomalies, the analyst will combine technical know-how with creativity. Then, using the information gathered, the analyst will create plans to cut expenses, enhance procedures and practices, and raise productivity, security, quality, and consistency. Along with summarizing difficult information, you will also prepare reports and presentations.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in the field of market research and data analytics
  • Strong analytical capabilities – data management, processing, and analysis
  • Strong hands-on experience Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of additional tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, SQL will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of and affinity for database and analytical tool management
  • Strong ability to work with multiple, geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment, multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organization prioritization and expectation management
  • Able to engage with senior stakeholders independently, prioritize work and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and credibility – collaborative, team player with strong work ethic and service excellence orientation
  • Effective written & verbal communication (English)
Job Responsibilities
  • Raw data is collected and analyzed to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and other useful information.
  • Using data to create and optimize strategies and processes that boost earnings, efficiency, quality, or security while decreasing costs.
  • Collaborating with internal divisions to gather data, develop, and implement strategies.
  • Discovering and validating new data sources.
  • Developing papers and presentations to summarise findings and influence corporate choices.
  • Working with the management team to set project goals, budgets, and schedules, as well as track progress and evaluate performance.
  • Implementing policies and procedures to protect firm data and information while it is acquired, analyzed, stored, and disposed.
  • Analytics procedures, methods, and tools are being reviewed and improved in order to boost efficiency, accuracy, and security.
