An Azure developer is an expert in creating, deploying, and managing Azure services and applications using Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform. Azure provides a number of services that include virtual computing, storage, networking, analytics, and more. These services include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Skills set Required for this Job :
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management information systems, computer science, or a similar discipline
- Knowledge of the languages, protocols, architecture styles, and data formats necessary to offer Azure-based integration solutions (e.g., Java,.NET, JSON, REST, and SOAP)
- expertise creating software for a business setting
- the capacity to use resources and services like SQL, API management, Key Vault, Functions, Event Grid, App Service, Data Factory, Storage Account, Cost Management, Active Directory, Defender, etc. to develop and maintain Azure solutions.
- Proficiency in communication to work with cross-functional teams, communicate technical ideas to stakeholders who are not technical, and foster a positive work atmosphere
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems, find answers, and adjust to changing needs without compromising the integrity of Azure solutions
Job Responsibilities
- Develop unit test case for each module.
- Conduct/ guide conducting of unit and integration testing and fix defects.
- Review/ approve code to be moved to testing environment.
- Provide support to the QA team and coordinate for various phases of testing.
- Address queries raised by QA within defined timelines.
- Investigate critical defects and establish need for fixing.
- Raise issues to leads/QA.
- Report defect status as per project standard process within agreed timelines.
- Share revised code with supervisor for review.
- Assist team lead and project manager on estimates around defect fixes.
