To support the work of our data scientists, we are seeking a responsible, multi-skilled data engineer. While staying up to date with prevalent programming and deployment tactics in the industry, the data engineer will be in charge of using machine learning techniques to build and maintain structures that enable data analysis. You should work with colleagues on different parts of this process to make sure your strategy fits the requirements of each project.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Proven experience in ETL technical design, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data exploration and analysis.
- Knowledge of modern coding practices and a proficiency in technologies such as SQL, Python, and various data integration tools.
- Experience with Snowflake, cloud services (AWS preferred), and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of expert data engineers to develop and refine data-driven solutions and machine learning models.
- Support the design and implementation of robust data pipelines, focusing on ETL processes and data modeling to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Engage in data sourcing, quality testing, cleansing, monitoring, and analysis to maintain high standards of data integrity and reliability.
- Understand complex business problems and requirements, applying innovative and reusable solutions to enhance data functionality and customer value.
- Play a key role in the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies and practices such as SQL, Python, Git, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Cloud Formation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Spark, Snowflake, Airflow, Neo4j, Kafka, and Pandas.
- Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of data pipelines, particularly those involving machine learning models, ensuring they are efficient and up-to-date.
