Latest job opening in Ericsson for Support Engineer.The Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd party suppliers and local authorities..

We are now looking for a Support Engineer that will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • thorough familiarity with the Mac OS, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • proficiency with helpdesk and remote desktop programs like Freshdesk and Zendesk.
  • advanced understanding of network configuration, IT hardware, and applications.
  • remarkable aptitude for diagnosing and prioritizing IT issues.
  • extensive background in handling IT-related client inquiries.
  • competence in tracking performance indicators and recording procedures.
  • Capacity to communicate to IT developers critical application feedback
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.
Job Responsibilities
  • Offering IT help to clients through phone calls, emails, chat features, and desktop solutions.
  • helping clients with the installation of applications and account setup.
  • Network configuration ensures optimal application functionality.
  • Asking specific queries of clients can help troubleshoot IT issues.
  • giving clients detailed instructions on how to fix technical issues.
  • answering technical questions again and giving timely comments.
  • giving top priority to client inquiries and notifying IT developers of critical technical problems.
  • recording error reports and keeping an eye on performance indicators.
  • providing IT developers with client input on the functionality of applications.
  • assembling helpful IT support materials and instruction manuals.
