They are instrumental in defining business needs, identifying potential improvements, and translating these elements into detailed technical requirements. A business analyst plays a crucial function in any project team. Serving as the primary point of contact between the project manager and the users, they collect data, record procedures, and get user approval for the completed papers.
A business analyst is being hired by us to work on our project. You will be directly responsible to the project manager and collaborate with other business analysts. You will be primarily responsible for carrying out thorough requirements analysis, recording procedures, and conducting some user acceptance testing. You should naturally be analytical in your thinking and able to communicate complex ideas to non-technical people if you want to succeed in this profession.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Ability to translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical framework
- Ability to experiment with alternate analytical techniques to solve a problem
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical capabilities:
- Good handle in SQL, Excel, other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)
- Basic understanding of statistical modelling and statistical tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS or SPSS.
- Good to have : working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc)
