The duties of the management trainee include finishing all tasks given to them, which may include working in various departments, learning about operations, handling conflicts, attending meetings and workshops, visiting other offices, offering assistance and suggestions for improvement, updating records, and creating documentation. Also, you must to be able to finish any assessments that are necessary.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Graduate with relevant years of Experience in IT Inventory and Asset Management.
- ITIL Certification would be an added advantage.
- Should have worked in large organizations in similar roles.
- Knowledge of working on Tools like Oracle Financials, Service Now, HAM Pro, Work Day
- Well versed with STPI and SEZ Site Procedures.
- Good Communication Skills and service attitude.
- Strong Documentation. (E-Mails, MS Office) for leadership reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the efficient functioning of the IT asset depot, ensuring the proper handling, storage, and distribution of IT assets.
- Manage the inventory of IT assets, including tracking, updating, and reconciling stock levels.
- Coordinate and execute the receiving, inspection, and processing of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate procurement of IT assets and supplies.
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of IT assets, coordinating with technical teams as necessary.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect IT assets, preventing theft and unauthorized access.
- Maintain asset movements, repairs, and disposal records to facilitate accurate reporting and compliance.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for depot operations and asset management processes.
- Monitor and optimize asset utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational IT asset management goals and objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to depot staff on asset management best practices and safety measures.
