In addition to working closely with clients and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals, you will be leading our software programming initiatives and leading our team of highly qualified software engineers in the development of projects that our company is currently working on. These projects will involve developing and overseeing methods for software system validation and testing as well as leading software engineering initiatives.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Strong hands-on experience in coding, testing, deployment, monitoring and alerting mechanism, metrics collection.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring
- Hands-on experience software development life and DevOps tooling (e.g Jenkins, Git, Ansible, maven) and Agile Methodology
- Hands-on experience in RDBMS and No SQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Solace, Maven, Jenkins Pipelines.
- Working understanding of service-based architecture with good interface practices.
- Good to have experience with scripting knowledge, business rule technology like Drools
- Good to have work experience in highly scalable and data intensive application.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for build and delivery of new as well enhancing existing services.
- Responsible for supporting the application and services in production. Using monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to technical alerts raised.
- Responsible for Maintaining operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services.
- Responsible for adoption of Industry standard best practices
- Identifies and removes barriers to success. Always acts in the HSBC’s best interests and willing to openly discuss potentially difficult topics.
- Promotes and takes accountability for quality; identifies opportunities to improve delivery quality and oversees the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions.
