In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology
We are seeking a committed application developer that will collaborate with clients to create new software apps as well as maintain and alter current ones. Applications are developed by application developers, who handle user requests for program customization, create prototypes, implement, test, and debug source code.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Java 8 and above, Spring boot, REST API Design and development
- Spring cloud, Spring Data/JPA/Hibernate, Database (SQL server/DB2)
- Docker, Container orchestration (Open Shift / Kubernetes), Messaging (Rabbit MQ / Kafka knowledge)
- CI/CD (Azure DevOps / Drone.io) & Monitoring & Alerting (AppDynamics / Prometheus)
- ELK stack, Grafana & AWS
- expertise in developing software and applications.
- understanding of programming and software design concepts.
- strong problem-solving and mathematical abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
Job Responsibilities
- creating software to satisfy the expectations of clients.
- drafting and putting into use new apps’ source code.
- Debugging and testing source code.
- assessing current applications and making necessary changes and alterations.
- creating technical handbooks that serve as representations of new application designs and codes.
