Latest job opening in Lenovo for Firmware Engineer . To join our team, we are seeking a driven and skilled Firmware Engineer! Supporting the firmware development team in the design, development, and manufacturing of our firmware-supported products will be your duty as a firmware engineer. It will be your duty to test, record, and develop firmware standards.
Firmware engineers are in charge of creating and implementing hardware and software tailored to particular industries. Firmware is the programmable data that provides instructions for electronic hardware devices, such as cell phones, remote controls, and medical equipment. Firmware developers create and apply these rules, also referred to as algorithms, to make the hardware function.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Hands-on firmware development in C and C++
- Knowledge and experience in protocols and technology related to BMC (IPMI, I2C, SPI, RedFish, REST, OS Internals etc.)
- Knowledge of Software development processes, working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-functional teams.
- Proficient Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and debug methodology skills expected.
- Proficient at recognizing complex problems related to functional objectives.
- Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.
- Analyze situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures, or processes.
- Capable of controlling work priorities and methods requiring trade-offs.
- Provides advice in technical/operational domain of specialization.
- Ability to apply discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to Lenovo.
