Latest job opening in Medpace for QA Test Engineer. A quality assurance (QA) tester creates test plans to evaluate new and current software, debug code, and enhance the usability of software programmes. They are often referred to as QA engineers, software testers, or software test engineers. To create software of the highest calibre, a QA tester collaborates with the development team.

In order to increase the usability of our products, we are searching for a specialised QA tester who will be in charge of creating and carrying out test plans. Together with the development team, the QA tester debugs code, fixes mistakes, and troubleshoots any software code problems.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computeer Science, Information Systems or related field;
  • Experience writing and executing manual testing for complex software applications; experience in automated testing is a plus!
  • Experience communicating and working within cross-departmental teams consisting of software developers, department leads, and end users;
  • Excellent computer skills;analytical, written, and oral communication skills; and
  • Experience in the regulated healthcare industry is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure that applications meet the needs of the users;
  • Perform testing using a variety of test methodologies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing;
  • Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and other documentation for projects;
  • Participate in constructive peer review of test cases;
  • Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies;
  • Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications, and ensure 100% test coverage; and 
  • Help facilitate execution of acceptance test scripts by end users
