Latest job opening in Oracle for Applications Engineer. We would like to add a creative applications engineer to our team of software engineers. You will be creating software applications, presenting software products and prototypes to the development team, and interacting with our clients to get their software needs and preferences communicated to the team.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- It will be helpful to have prior sales or customer service expertise.
- sophisticated knowledge of languages including Java, SQL,.NET, and C.
- vast expertise in software deployment, optimisation, and maintenance.
- outstanding ability to analyse and solve problems.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
