The task of extracting, copying, and loading corporate data into a data warehousing environment that they have created falls to extract, transform, and load (ETL) developers. They must be proficient in both design and programming since they are also in charge of evaluating the system’s functionality and resolving any issues before it is deployed.

For our business, we are seeking to employ a proficient ETL developer to create and populate a data warehousing environment. Consulting with the data management team, assessing the organization’s storage requirements, building a data warehouse, obtaining data from corporate servers, stocking the new warehouse, and testing it after it’s finished are all part of your responsibilities.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  •  strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technology
  • coding knowledge in Informatica PowerCenter 10x version and Oracle PL/SQL
  • experience in CI/CD tools and related concepts with hands-on skills on Gitlab
  • conversant with Unix OS & shell scripting
  • exposure to Perl and Python programming languages
  • exposure to Batch processing and Scheduling in Control-M/Autosys
  • prior experience of working in an investment bank (Finance domain) will be added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
  • speaking with data management teams to obtain a broad understanding of the demands for data storage inside the organisation.
  • offering the business warehouse alternatives in accordance with their requirements for storage.
  • coding and designing the data warehousing system in accordance with the required business requirements.
  • assessing the warehousing environment in an early stage before extracting data.
  • obtaining corporate data and moving it to the new storage facility.
  • after all the data has been moved, testing the new storage system.
  • resolving any potential problems that may emerge.
  • supplying assistance for maintenance.
