Job Description

Latest job opening in Verint for Software Engineer- Support . Application engineering team is seeking for a senior Tier 3/4 support engineer who would be instrumental in troubleshooting of our existing mobile and real-time cloud applications.  This hands-on position enables to a broad engineering competence and technical knowledge of application software development, as well as resolving complex customer issues in a dynamic environment.

We are seeking a committed support engineer to make sure that the technical questions of our clients are promptly and satisfactorily addressed. Your responsibilities in this position will include helping clients install applications, answering questions using our desktop support tools, and reporting critical problems to the software development team.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Autodidact, fast learner, structured and process oriented
  • Proven knowledge of Micro Services architecture
  • Knowledge of Linux and familiarity with Windows are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components, mainly Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Postgres DB, DataDog
  • Proven knowledge of AWS framework 
  • Ability to perform code fixes for identified issues in server components – Java, Node JS, Spring boot, JavaScript – an advantage.
  • Experience utilizing debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions (Wireshark or similar).
  • Data Communications knowledge – TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
  • Ability to write technical and procedures documentation.
  • On-call duty as necessary (escalations).
  • Work in GMT-3 time zone
  • Fluent English
Job Responsibilities
  • Independently troubleshoot customer issues by analyzing product & systemic behavior.
  • Ability to understand and solve complex problems and concepts as well as make decisions based on given input.
  • Work as a liaison & drive communication internally between T2 Support, engineering & product management to resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactive in identifying critical point of failure, raising flags & escalating issues that are of urgent nature.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, ability to juggle multiple priorities and parallel projects and products simultaneously.
