Latest job opening in Zebra for Data Scientist .To handle the data analytics problems in our company, gather vast amounts of data from various sources, clean and analyse data, come up with solutions for problems, and interact with interested parties, we are seeking to employ a very creative data scientist.
Utilising computational, statistical, and mathematical methods, data scientists examine unprocessed data. In order to arrive at insightful interpretations and conclusions, this may entail screening and analysing data as well as developing solutions .To be successful in this role, you must possess digital knowledge, creativity, and curiosity. You must be well-versed in statistics and mathematics, keep up with the latest data programming tools and applications, and be an expert algorithm writer.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Bachelors degree, Masters or PhD in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related discipline preferred
- 0-2 years
- Statistics modeling and algorithms
- Machine Learning experience including deep learning and neural networks, genetics algorithm etc
- Working knowledge with big data – Hadoop, Cassandra, Spark R. Hands on experience preferred
- Data Mining
- Data Visualization and visualization analysis tools including R
- Work/project experience in sensors, IoT, mobile industry highly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable presenting to Sr Management and CxO level executives
- Self-motivated and self-starting with high degree of work ethic
Job Responsibilities
- Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
- Supports the development and coding of software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
- Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
- Support the creation of analytical models with emphasis on predicative and prescriptive analytics.
- Support creation of visual graphics to adequately analyze historical data and display trending
- Support evaluation of 3rd party analytics algorithms and analytics framework
- Support Integration of statistical models into Zebra’s platforms, products or services by collaborating with software development team
- Perform data analysis of customer specific data to help diagnosis customer specific issues
- Evaluate data collected to improve analytics.
- Evaluate new data to collect for products or services under consideration for development or in development cycle
