Merck recruitment drive 2024 for Associate System Engineer . Systems engineers are in charge of creating and configuring the networked computing infrastructure of a company, making sure everything functions properly and efficiently, and troubleshooting any technological problems that may come up.
Our organization is expanding and we are seeking a proficient systems engineer to assist us in extending our computing infrastructure. A network of computers, comprising hardware, software, and system architecture, must be designed, assembled, and maintained by a team of IT specialists under the direction of the systems engineer.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- a bachelor’s degree (preferably a master’s) in computer science, information systems, or a similar discipline.
- UNIX-based system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience that has been demonstrated.
- expertise configuring software for automation and writing scripts (using Perl, Ruby, or Python, for example).
- outstanding familiarity with TCP/IP and OSI network layers.
- knowledge of system monitoring, performance adjustment, and management.
- Proficient in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Job Responsibilities
- supervising the creation and implementation of new computer and networking infrastructures.
- choosing the best options based on an understanding of the various technologies that are available.
- systems in the current network to make sure there aren’t any disruptions in production.
- installing and setting up applications and operating systems.
- putting best practices for data backups and system security into practice.
- recognizing prospective problems or bottlenecks and coming up with solutions.
- identifying and fixing any technical problems as soon as they appear.
- establishing good communication with IT support personnel to provide a seamless setup procedure.
- communicating with suppliers and informing pertinent parties of any updates.
