NIQ off campus hiring 2024 for Test Engineer . Test engineers are in charge of creating and carrying out the tests that guarantee a product’s functionality and quality. They work on every stage of the testing program, from creating the test parameters to identifying and fixing problems to drafting the final test protocols.
We are seeking to employ a qualified test engineer to create and carry out quality-control protocols for our goods. Writing up final test procedures for the quality specialists and studying the aspects of the product are among the responsibilities of a test engineer. You will also be in charge of setting test parameters and developing personalized quality checks.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Technical degree at university/institute of technology, college of applied science level
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills are the key to success in this role
- Strong foundation in software testing principles and practices
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
- Coding Experience in at least one statistical software packages such as Python, R.
- Ability to manage, prioritize, analyze and communicate multiple technical issues with the help of a ticketing system
- Positive and enthusiastic team player with good communication and collaboration skills. Solution oriented, autonomous and proactive working style
- Fluent English in written and spoken
- Basic knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts an advantageÂ
Job Responsibilities
- You work with the Site Reliability Engineering/Support and Development Teams to increase the quality of our products.
- You build and improve test processes as part of the CI/CD pipeline. You advocate and lead the test automation.
- You define, implement and automate test cases in order to ensure product quality
- You bring your expertise to help the team improve both the quality of the SW and frequency of the delivery
- You support the R&D department with your expertise and ensure a smooth and correct data collection and analysis
- You create reports and document, analyze panel data, implement and monitor technical KPIs
- You keep track of customers service needs in the JIRA ticketing system
- You test/verify our software and services and act as a quality gate.Â
