Qualcomm recruitment drive 2024 for Test Engineer . Test engineers are in charge of creating and carrying out the tests that guarantee a product’s functionality and quality. They work on every stage of the testing program, from creating the test parameters to identifying and fixing problems to drafting the final test protocols.
We are seeking to employ a qualified test engineer to create and carry out quality-control protocols for our goods. Writing up final test procedures for the quality specialists and studying the aspects of the product are among the responsibilities of a test engineer. You will also be in charge of setting test parameters and developing personalized quality checks.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience working with Windows, Linux and Android.
- Expertise on Windows and Linux OS concepts and tools – bat script, linux commands.
- Expert in C/C++/Python programming
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected
Preferred additional qualifications:
- Expertise in Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies – 6DOF tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, WebXR
- Experience in testing applications/software on Windows, Linux and Android.
- Experience with development of 3D experiences – games/apps using SDKs like Unity and Unreal.
- Expertise in Video technologies – Video Decode & Encode techniques
- Data analysis, automation and scripting – Python programming
- Experience with image processing and computer graphics pipelines and architecture
- Expertise in AI/Machine Learning technologies
- Expertise in Wireless transmission systems for video and gaming applications and networking technologies
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
- Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
- Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
- Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.
- Develop app/test content for exercising new features.
- Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product
