Job Description

TravClan off campus freshers drive 2024 for Business Development Associate . Business Development Associate at TravClan is a key role that focuses on growing the volume of business done by agents. You will be resolving agents’ grievances related to payments, and services & work on retaining every agent with a wonderful experience.

We are B2B Travel Tech startup that is reshaping the way travel agents sell and deliver exceptional travel experiences worldwide. We enable travel agents to book flights, hotels & holidays conveniently and we provide comprehensive end-to-end on-ground travel services. We do over INR 1000 crore+ GMV (sales) and are growing rapidly.

Job Responsibilities
  • The sole point of contact in building and managing a highly engaged community of business entrepreneurs/ agents.
  • Educating members about TravClan and managing 100-200 business accounts.
  • Working in close interface with the finance, product, and marketing team to build better processes, products, and reach, respectively.
  • Healthy retention of agents while growing the volume of Agent’s business through TravClan
  • Ensuring customer delight while managing Agent’s grievances related to payments, services, products etc.
  • Effectively managing feedback and escalations from customers and vendors.
  • Hosting country-wide offline and online events & meet-ups of members from time to time.
The Recruitment Process :

1. Aptitude Test: The first step of the recruitment process is a basic 50-minute aptitude test.
2. Group Discussion: If you clear the Aptitude Test, the second step of the recruitment process would be a 20-30-minute group discussion round.
3. Personal Interviews: 2-3 video interviews. Detailed discussions about the job profile, company & candidature are discussed in these rounds.
 4. Extending an offer: On successfully clearing the interview rounds, the job offer is extended to the candidate. This includes financial benefits and many other benefits. 

Growth Prospects:
  • Annual CTC – ₹ 5.4 to 7.5  LPA 
  • ESOPs + promotions + aggressive growth prospects (read further) !
  • Fast Appraisal –  Despite Covid, we had appraisals in 6 months in Jan & July 2020 
  • Aggressive Hikes – In May’21 & Jan’22, Average Hike was 35% & 30% respectively.
