Work form home jobs in Ellucian for Cloud Engineer .To collaborate with our technical team in the development, implementation, optimization, and upkeep of cloud-based solutions, we are seeking an experienced cloud engineer. In addition to training teams on new cloud projects and guaranteeing the security of the cloud infrastructure, your responsibilities will include deploying and troubleshooting cloud stacks.

Skills set Required for this Job :
- Â 0-2 years of experience with enterprise scale Linux with hands-on operational experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and any database (PostGres preferred).
- Solid knowledge of AWS platform and its services.
- Scripting/automation experience with any – Shell/Python/Go.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills in enterprise scale cloud environment delivering.
- Experience with DevOps tools – Ansible/Terraform/Jenkins/etc.
- Experience configuring and monitoring for cloud application and infrastructure and optimizing performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Provisioning, management, and monitoring of SaaS applications hosted in AWS cloud.
- Maintaining 99.95% uptime SLA by ascertaining that the changes going in do does not break the application or troubleshooting and bringing the services back to life quickly – with your
- expertise in operating n-tier application.
- Identifying root causes for outages and implementing solutions so incidents don’t repeat.
- Automating repeat tasks, with CI/CD tooling, which result in reduction of manual labor and errors.
- Creating self-service tools that our customers(internal/external) could use to remove dependency and reduce time to resolution.
- Continuously optimize AWS resources to reduce cloud spend.
- Help product team make the right architectural and other technical decisions that make the applications better.
- Review CI/CD code and recommend changes as needed.
- Our applications run 24X7 – need to be on-call after hours.
