Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is hiring an Applications Administrator I in Bengaluru to help manage our enterprise applications and contribute to our mission of improving global health, environmental quality, and safety.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic application-specific support issues.
- Install and maintain enterprise and/or laboratory application software, including dedicated hardware.
- Complete change requests and qualifications.
- Liaise with other internal groups and vendors to determine and successfully implement solutions.
Knowledge, Skills required for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- 0 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- General understanding of server administration and architecture (Windows Server, Linux).
- Ability to interact with relational databases (primarily Oracle, some SQL Server).
- Basic support knowledge of desktop operating systems and efficiency applications (MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to see issue resolution through to completion.
- Positive attitude and dedication to high-quality work.
- Key Area of Expertise Required – Power Automate / .Net
Skills:
- Work in an office environment.
- Frequent mobility and occasional light to moderate lifting (up to 20 lbs).
- Regular and consistent attendance with the ability to perform under stress and multi-task.
