Analyst-Data Science:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detailed oriented analyst to support our Model Governance and Oversight function with American Express.  Excellent opportunity for someone interested in risk management and operational controls and oversight.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong accountability and ownership of projects and assignments.   Strong Attention to detail is a MUST.
• Highly motivated.  Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, using initiative to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables.  Must have an excellent command of the various inquiries in inbox and ability to respond within 24 hours.  Ability to follow through on required projects and inquiries, without reminders.
• Good written/oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive in updating management consistently with work progress
• Ability to establish strong collaborative relationships.  Proven team player; collaborative and passionate in your approach and able to work autonomously
• Coding and data mining is NOT a responsibility within this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Being an entry level “chief of staff” to assist in supporting the facilitation of key Council meetings with Senior American Express Leaders, including pulling the monthly materials together by gathering slides from key teams, timely distribution of materials, tracking follow-ups to completion, materials and supporting documents are uploaded timely into company repositories.
• Participate in Internal Audits and Regulatory Exams readiness efforts and post audit / exam activities.  Serve as the organization’s Point of Contact.
• Assist in the preparation of key Training materials for the broader organization.
• Serve as a key resource for the team and key stakeholder groups.
