Job Overview

As a Junior Analyst within Chubb’s Risk & Capital Team, you will support the operation and use of our capital model, which assesses quantifiable material risks on both sides of Chubb’s balance sheet. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with 0-2 years of experience who are eager to learn and develop their skills in data management and risk assessment. Your role will involve working with large datasets, assisting in model operations, and contributing to various projects within the Risk Function.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gain an understanding of the capital model’s technical workings.
• Assist in coordinating with other departments to ensure the model is accurately calibrated.
• Ensure the model’s outputs are accurate and support reporting needs.
• Conduct basic model manipulations and coding changes as needed

Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience in data manipulation, particularly in Excel and similar tools.
• Familiarity with numerical problem-solving is advantageous.
• Good communication skills

Education: 

• A degree in a relevant field that demonstrates numerical competencies, such as Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science.
• It is essential to be able to articulate how the knowledge gained from your studies can be applied in day-to-day tasks within the role.
