To find insights, create prediction models, and inform critical business decisions, a data scientist examines complicated, vast amounts of structured and unstructured data. They use statistical methods, machine learning, SQL, and programming (Python/R) to solve issues, visualize results, and automate data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Identifying, collecting, and preprocessing data from various sources (SQL, APIs, Web) to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Modeling & Algorithm Development: Creating predictive models and machine learning algorithms (e.g., forecasting, clustering, classification) to drive operational improvements.

• Data Analysis & Visualization: Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) and using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries to visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Strategic Collaboration: Working with engineering teams to implement models in production and advising leadership on data-driven strategy.
• Experimentation: Designing A/B tests to validate hypotheses.

We’re looking for students who have:

✅ Strong knowledge of Python for data analysis & modeling
✅ Good command of SQL for working with large datasets
✅ Curiosity to explore data and drive insights
