Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our Security Operations Centre (ZenSOC) in Pune. In this role, you will assist in monitoring, analysing, and responding to security events while gaining hands‑on experience with enterprise security tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM and other SOC tools.
• Assist in the initial triage and investigation of potential security incidents.
• Support threat detection activities by analysing logs, network traffic, and endpoint behaviour
• Document findings, incident details, and prepare reports for SOC analysts.
• Participate in daily SOC operations, including threat intelligence reviews and security hygiene tasks.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to learn incident response workflows and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of network foundation  and cybersecurity concepts (firewalling , threats, vulnerabilities, malware etc).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good communication and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge , Courses or certifications in cybersecurity domains and technologies
• Pursuing full-time engineering degree in computer science / IT
