Job Description

As a Campus Associate you need to understand the business we support and will be responsible to provide direction to a team of engineers to ensure data needs to meet business demands in various functions.

This position will establish architecture principles, build models of data that enable the implementation of the business architecture, generate diagrams displaying keydata entities, and produce an inventory of the data needed to realize the architecture vision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions in key data areas for syndicated, point of sale and indirect trade data
• Define, design, and help architect solution and coordinating and communicating with GIT Teams for implementation
• Define, design, and build data models for use by the business
• Evaluate reusability of current data for additional analyses
• Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access
• Define how the data is stored, consumed, coordinated and led by different data entities and IT systems.
• Engage with the data management team in best practices for data sourcing, key data elements, data quality management and metadata.
• Engage with the data warehousing team in the migration to cloud warehousing
• Provide data initiatives, evaluations, and mentorship with projects in accordance to our corporate guidelines.
• Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles.

• Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to align with governance practices

• Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project
• Mentor and coach junior developer resources

• Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes
• Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can add value to the business
• Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles.

What you’ll need…(Required)

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0 or 1+ years professional experience as a data analyst, analytics / data platform engineer, data engineer, or related role developing conceptual, logical, and preliminary physical models for an enterprise
• Experience working with cloud data warehousing (e.g.- Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Experience with programming languages like SQL, Python, etc.
• Experience working with cloud environments (e.g.- GCP, AWS).
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Willingness to gain training/certification in designated technologies.
