Role Overview

As an AI Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to building AI-powered systems that improve DHL’s logistics and operational workflows. The position is part of a global team that leverages cutting-edge AI technologies to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven applications with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, integrating with tools like LangChain, OpenAI APIs, and Hugging Face.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and optimize AI responses.
• Create robust and scalable AI workflows using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Airflow, GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with international teams to gather requirements, test models, and ensure successful deployment in production environments.

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Python and a solid understanding of backend development principles.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, especially NLP, LLMs, and prompt tuning.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git and exposure to microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
