Are you passionate about ensuring flawless user experiences in mobile, web, and backend applications? Swiggy is seeking dynamic individuals to join our engineering team as ASDETs. As an SDET at Swiggy, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and functionality of our platform that thousands of restaurant partners rely on for seamless operations

To join our QA team, we are seeking a qualified software test engineer. You will be in charge of assessing software features and creating test procedures as a software test engineer to make sure that products operate as intended. Completing all testing procedures, recommending performance adjustments, and creating performance reports for the development managers will also fall under your purview.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional testing of mobile applications (Android/iOS) to ensure seamless performance.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionalities
• Develop comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy for efficient testing workflows.
• Demonstrate understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.
• Manage defect life cycle, including severity and priority assessments.
• Attention to detail in multi-platform testing scenarios.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute and validate test cases based on requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid grasp of Testing principles and methodologies.
• Fundamental understanding of HTTP and REST concepts.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
• Experience in Java, Selenium, or Appium is advantageous.
• Knowledge of cloud mobile testing tools like LambdaTest and BrowserStack is a plus.
