Job Overview

Data on sales figures, market research, logistics, languages, and other behaviors are gathered and stored by a data analyst. In order to help individuals, companies, and organizations make better decisions, they process, design, and present the data using their technological knowledge to guarantee its quality and correctness.

To expand our data team, we are seeking to hire a data analyst. You will be in charge of creating reports, maintaining our master data set, and resolving data problems. A keen eye for detail, prior data analysis expertise, and a thorough understanding of the most widely used databases and data analysis tools are all necessary for success in this position.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain PySpark data pipelines for ETL/ELT workflows.
• Process and transform large datasets in distributed computing environments (Databricks, Spark clusters, EMR, Synapse, HDInsight, etc.).
• Write clean, efficient, reusable code in Python and PySpark.
• Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and normalization tasks.

Skills & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
• Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical, lay terms.
• High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
