Job Overview

Under the direction of experienced engineers, an AI engineering intern helps create, build, and improve machine learning and artificial intelligence models. The position is intended for a student or recent graduate who wants to contribute to real-world projects and obtain practical experience in the field of artificial intelligence. Natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and generative artificial intelligence (AI) are some of the specializations available for internships.

In order to support the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions, the AI Engineering Intern will collaborate closely with the AI and Machine Learning teams. The intern will participate in every phase of the project lifecycle, from model construction and data analysis to deployment and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and optimizing machine learning models using various algorithms and techniques.
• Perform data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis to prepare datasets for model training.
• Help research and prototype new AI and machine learning techniques, including those related to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Python, adhering to software development best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to integrate AI models into existing software systems and applications.
• Assist in testing and evaluating model performance, identifying areas for improvement, and performing model fine
• Help develop and maintain automated pipelines for deploying AI models into production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Basic understanding of core machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
• Familiarity with standard machine learning libraries, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
